About the Author

Picture
Kaye Nutman's writing career began when she researched house histories as a volunteer at her local Historical Society. She also enjoyed working  as a volunteer in a Day Oncology unit. Through their  ‘Palliative Care in the Home Patient Biography Service,’ Kaye wrote many patient’s biographies for their loved ones to have as a cherished memory to keep, whilst first summing up for the patient  a life well lived.

Kaye’s first book developed after her nephew's two year old was diagnosed with Leukemia, and ‘Running for a Cause’  was the result..
It has been called ”The ESSENTIAL book for any CHARITY MARATHON participant!”

‘The Truth About Amber: When little fibs turn into great big lies’ is Kaye’s second book and is a fast-paced read for 9-12 year-olds. As a former teacher her favourite age for teaching was eight to eleven year olds. Praise for Kaye’s book includes "Great life lessons cleverly disguised as a delightful tale of two pen pals"  Amazon reviewer

The extremely popular ‘Headscarves, Head Wraps & More: How to Look Fabulous in 60 Seconds with Easy Head Wrap Tying Techniques’  is a fabulous mix of scarf wrapping ideas. It is suited to those who have suffered hair loss due to chemotherapy, but is also for someone who wants to make a statement with a headscarf, or covers for cultural or other reasons."A great cover-up when growing out hair colour!" Amazon Reviewer

Kaye is currently working on a children's Choose Your Adventure type of novel, tentatively called 'The Haunted House in the Woods and You' and a short Love Story called 'The Five Minute Kiss'. Her collection of Downloadable Printables and Digital Planners are on a variety of topics; They are available on etsy.com.au under the title oggytheoggdesign.

British born Kaye now lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, son and crazy rescue dog, Peaches.

As a rescue dog she is of indeterminate breed but possibly a Border Collie X Red Heeler (cattle dog).
Biography Writing: Kaye has written many Biographies. Apart from her confidential patient biographies in her volunteer role, these include those of private clients -  one a Greek born woman (with the gentle translating help of her daughter); another for a 96-year-old UK born Aussie. Ask  for details if you are interested in telling your story or that of a loved one.

EVERYONE has a story to tell... Why not tell YOURS?

Kaye has taught several writing groups in GAB (Guided Autobiography). From the beautiful venue of a Yacht Club, with fabulous sea views, and quaint Brighton Historical Society rooms, to the current calm elegance at The Crescent Retirement Village with its unique and friendly group. She is available for group life story writing sessions, and grown up ‘Show and Tell.’
Kaye is also available for demonstrations of headwrap tying in a fun atmosphere, with participation for those who dare!
